About Harry
I am Harry Watts, a Geography Bsc Undergraduate at Bath Spa University and looking to support students going through GCSE and A-Levels and I am happy and would welcome discussions about Higher Education.
I have recently been awarded a scholarship to join a research group in Saskatchewan, Canada surrounding water management and governance in enhancing vulnerable communities to the risk of climate change.
I also take an active role in combating biodiversity loss, something accredited by the 'John Muir Award', rewarding individuals who have taken practical steps to reduce biodiversity loss.
My teaching style has been adapted from my Mum who's been a secondary school English teacher for over 20 years. I have an LTA Level 2 coaching certificate requiring good communication skills. My future career aspiration is to work in Higher Education for a career so passing on knowledge is a passion of mine.

My lessons will be 1 hour long and start with assessing the student's ability and confidence in the area before outlining the relevant framework (outlining key terms, theories, and background information) that allows them to grasp the fundamentals. We will then apply this to case study examples before working through the daunting part, assessments! I want to help relieve stress and anxiety from this by working through questions and past papers together.
Exam techniques and applying real-life examples are critical to Geography and something I have found extremely helpful.
