About Jon
I'm Jon Poza, I am originally from Spain but I moved to New Zealand a few months ago. I've been a teacher for many years in Spain but I wanted to start a PhD. and that led me to this wonderful country. Other than reading and learning I love hiking and climbing, I am really outdoorsy and I try to have an active lifestyle. I also love art; I attend drawing classes and I paint as much as I can every week.

I have broad experience teaching different subjects as a personal tutor and as a high school teacher. I try to apply fun methodologies such as gamification or reverse classroom when possible, to make an enjoyable learning process. I don't like making my classes longer than 1h 30min, because my experience has shown me that after long tutoring sessions students tend to lose attention. Learn and have fun while learning with me!
