About Precious
I am a second-year Biomedical Science student who has achieved 10 A*-A GCSE grades including maths and English Language.
I really enjoy my degree because it explains the workings of the human body and gave me an opportunity to explore my specific areas of interest further. I also love maths and I aspire to become a maths teacher!
I aim to build a relationship with the student where they feel comfortable to ask questions and to finish each session feeling slightly more confident and accomplished.

My sessions will be flexible.
I am a visual person, I believe one learns faster through diagrams than mere reading - this will be my main approach.
but the structure, generally, will depend on the needs of the students : past papers, worksheets , or just a standard lesson.
I will start each lesson with a few questions to introduce the topic and use those to frame the rest of the session, focusing on areas where gaps in knowledge or understanding have been identified. This will help me tailor the session to the needs of each student. I will also ask a few questions at the end of the session to help consolidate key concepts that have been discussed throughout the lesson, and set some relevant follow-up work for the student to bring to the next session, to ensure further consolidation.
I like feedback from the students and ask for their suggestion for a better lesson!
