About Carey Lee
I have completed my BSc in Engineering, majoring in Chemical engineering. During my degree I've successfully passed three years of university level mathematics and Chemistry. I am currently a product development and technical customer service graduate. However my passion is to impact lives in a positive way by tutoring and mentoring. My goal is to complete my masters and PhD and become a mathenatics lecturer.

I would first obtain the year syllabus of the sybject. Ask student for past and current reports to gage how much the student is required to work on the subject. Then offer the student a work book with examples, problems and past paper questions which will be used during the sessions. I would begin by having my lessons structured and planned out, starting with the syllabus from the begining. Break down the rules and tricks of the section I'm teaching. Ask the student if he or she understands. Then ask them to complete problems while in the session, from there I'll also be able to gage the underling of the section. If there seems to be uneasyness or misunderstandings I'll explain again and physically show them how the answer was arrived and what I've done and my thought process through the problem. The only way you can get better at something is if you practice. So I would then ask them to complete past paper problems of the section taught and bring it through to the following session to review. This will also get them in the habit of consislstantly studying each section after it has been taught to them. By the time it's exams, revision would be easy.
