About Olabayo
I am a highly motivated French language teacher with an undeniable passion for teaching this beautiful language of Molière. Having graduated from the Department of European Studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria with a excellent grades, I have developed the desire to strengthen my knowledge of this beautiful language and know its secrets.
I've worked with Alliance Française Ibadan, Nigeria as a French language tutor, Translator and Interpreter for over 4 years, I'm currently an M. A student and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the department of Modern Languages and Classics, University of Alabama, US.
In an effort to learn more about this language and its culture so that I could add my two cents to its promotion around the world, in 2019 I had the opportunity to travel to Vichy, France for a two-week training course as a teacher of French as a Foreign Language. This experience added more value to my learning and teaching of this language. The opportunity allowed me to discover the culture and civilization of the country where this language comes from, which I am passionate about, in order to finally bring relevant clarifications in my learning and teaching of French, especially at the pedagogical level.
