About Lucy
I have been giving lessons to a variety of students for the last 18 months. I have taught Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Psychology to 6th form students. I have taught Maths, English, Phonics and Science to primary school children. My A level students have achieved A and B grades in their subjects and have gained places at their desired university. My current primary school students have gained a level since the beginning of these lessons.

I currently work as learning mentor in a primary school that specialises in mental health and behaviour difficulties. Within my role I deliver and plan 1-on-1 lessons focusing on english, maths, and science to students who levels are lower than they should be. Within this role I also deliver a large amount of therapeutic interventions. I have a Chemistry undergraduate degree, and Psychology Masters conversion degree, and have worked as a learning mentor for the last 18 months. My lessons always begin with a starter activity, which usually consists of interactive games focusing on areas that involve recall within the subject. My main activites incorporate the child's preferred learning style into a lesson that helps build the child's confidence whilst challenging them.
