About Meena
I am a senior at Baylor University, with a double major in Neuroscience and Spanish. I am a future medical student, focusing on medical Spanish. I am not associated with a specific Spanish-speaking culture, so I am familiar with vocabulary and dialectical differences from around the world! I am very passionate about teaching; I currently teach English to immigrants and I tutor for Spanish. I have taught and learned multiple languages so I am intimately aware of syntactical and semantic complexities. Learning a language is a complex, difficult, and rewarding journey, and I hope to accompany you to reach your goals!

My educational history is extremely diverse, including the IB diploma, traditional college courses, and immersive learning experiences with my local Spanish-speaking community. I tutor for all levels of Spanish. My teaching plan includes a progressive curriculum of grammar accompanied with series of vocabulary, especially for beginners or those looking for specific focus of Spanish (ie. medical spanish). I have a different outlook on language learning as a tutor because I grew up bilingual but I did not grow up speaking Spanish, so I am familiar with all of the learning obstacles in this process and am ready to help you face them!
