About Alex
As a young geography teacher, it was not long ago that I was sitting my exams. I understand the feeling of starting GCSE and A-levels and how daunting it can be.
I want to be able to help students be prepared for their exams, often exam technique is not focussed on in schools, but it is one of the most important parts of leaving school with those all important grades.

My approach to teaching changes depending on the students I am working with. Generally, my teaching style is student led, where I encourage students to be inquisitive and I act as an aid to them working out and understanding the answer.
With GCSE and A-Level students, I focus mainly on exam technique and the best ways to answer questions in Geography Exams to ensure the students are able to gain all possible marks.
I am currently a geography teacher in an independent school in Hertfordshire.
