About Riley
The reason I became so passionate in the French language is because I served a mission for my church in Paris, France! Since then, I have continued my studies in French- along with taking prerequisite courses for physical therapy school- and recently did an internship in France at a PT clinic. I am an avid rock climber and enjoy motivating others to perform their best! With that said, I am aware of the challenges of learning a language. It will be my goal to work diligently with others to understand not only the complexities of a language but the ability to express one's thoughts as well.

- I believe my approach as a tutor will create lasting benefits to those with whom I interact. I enjoy conversation and getting to know others, which can aide in developing good conversational skills (the foundation of learning a language). Some techniques I would use include:
- Teaching the basic verbs used in every day french
- Conjugations both in speech and writing
- various examples and scenarios to practice certain verbs or vocabulary
- Giving current events assignments to expand cultural knowledge as well as vocabulary.
- Giving homework at the end of every lesson to practice !
-My lessons would include : learning basic verbs, grammar, sentence structure, subjunctive, conditional, passé composé, imparfait, and how to think critically in French. Therefore, my lessons can span from beginner to advanced levels.
