About Jade
I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in Public Health, where I developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills that I bring into every tutoring session. Throughout college, I gained experience working in both sales and administrative roles, which strengthened my ability to connect with individuals, understand their needs, and explain concepts clearly and effectively.
I am deeply passionate about helping others grow and feel confident in their abilities. I approach tutoring with professionalism, patience, and a commitment to each student’s success. I take the time to prepare thoughtful lessons, track progress, and adapt my teaching style to ensure each student is truly understanding the material—not just memorizing it.

I use a structured but flexible approach that combines:
- Phonics and reading comprehension to strengthen both decoding and understanding

For spelling and vocabulary, I focus on patterns, word recognition, and practical usage rather than just memorization. My goal is to help students understand why words work the way they do.

- Guided reading practice, focusing on fluency and comprehension
- Targeted spelling or vocabulary work based on the student’s level
