About Cynthia
My name is Cynthia Kavata Muimi.
I am a 32-year old lady,born and raised in Kenya.
I am a wife and a mother too to Two beautiful girls aged 5 and 1 year(s).
I am a high school teacher of English and Literature with over seven years of teaching experience.
I am highly motivated, exceedingly organised, possess great interpersonal skills, passionate about people and very compassionate among other so many strengths that I possess.
Sometimes am not patient with myself. I don't take criticism well and I have a weakness of taking things personally among my other weaknesses.
The reason why I want to teach is because;
1. I am a Kenyan teacher. I want to diversify and share what I have with as many young people as possible.
2. I love teaching.
3. I am also,most importantly, looking for diverse ways of earning a living while enjoying what I love to do.

I am a student focussed teacher who finds great pleasure and satisfaction in associating with young people of whatever age, origin, ability and religion.
My joy as a teacher of English and Literature with over seven years teaching experience in high school is seeing students shine inside out and surpass their expectations. Them confessing later on that 'you teacher are the reason why' gives me ultimate joy.
One student anonymously left a note on the door of my office after clearing school (yes,on the door. He/She wrote it on the door) expressing how just being his/her teacher shaped them and thanking me for nothing in particular. I might never know who the student was or how how I impacted on them, but I certainly know that, spending Four years with them will be imprinted in a way on their lives for a long time.
