About Esther Shushan
Hi! My name is Esther and I am a stay at home mom with two kids. I have 10 years of taking lessons, and performing piano, viola, and percussion in my middle and high school jazz band, always in 1st or 2nd chair. I was invited to a Chicago UIL jazz competition where I performed a jazz solo that helped my band win 2nd place.
I love discovering the patterns and intricacies of piano and music.
My most special ability is learning songs by ear. I love piano pieces from different anime!

I love working on proper form because it’ll help you in the long run. I can begin with sheetmusic reading or chords, your choice! I am very methodical, technical and practical and not a drill sergeant! Nevertheless, I am keen to provide the proper encouragement so learning is a joy!
I can offer 30-60 minute classes, as many or as little times a week through zoom or Google meets,virtually.
