About Savannah
Hi, I'm Savannah! Chemistry became my greatest academic passion in high school the moment I understood that this subject explains everything — from how medicines are manufactured in industrial plants to how food is preserved on supermarket shelves. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Education (B.S.) from Samford University in Birmingham, where I studied advanced chemistry including industrial chemistry applications and science education, graduating with academic honors. With 6 years of experience, I have worked with over 265 happy students from middle school through college freshman year. My lessons cover everything from basic concepts all the way to complex organic chemistry, industrial chemistry processes, electrochemistry, and AP Chemistry exam preparation. Most of my AP Chemistry students earned scores of 4 or 5 and received meaningful college credit. I was honored with the Chemistry Education Achievement Award by the Alabama Science Teachers Association for making chemistry engaging and genuinely understandable for students who previously felt completely overwhelmed. My lessons always connect every concept to real industrial and everyday life examples because that is exactly what makes chemistry truly fascinating.
