I’ve had the pleasure of working with individuals of all ages, assisting them in reaching their language goals. My services cover everything from mastering grammar, practicing real-life conversations, learning new vocabulary, and reducing your accent to refining presentations, editing professional documents, and teaching natural expressions. Teaching Russian is my passion! With an MA in teaching Russian and Literature, I've been a professional teacher since 2000. I'm continuously expanding my expertise, working as a linguist, transcriber, Russian editor, and certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language, always staying up to date with the latest teaching methods and technologies.

I believe that learning a language should feel natural, inspiring, and rewarding. My lessons are based on a systemic approach: each new concept builds on the previous one, creating a snowball effect where your vocabulary, grammar knowledge, and confidence expand step by step.
I use carefully designed learning materials that make grammar clear and manageable, while steadily broadening your vocabulary in an engaging way. To keep learning lively and authentic, I bring in interactive exercises, videos, audios, and real-life texts that help you experience the language as it is used in everyday life.
For learners who prefer a less traditional path, I also offer a textbook-free approach inspired by ACTFL methodology. In this case, we focus on essential questions and can-do statements, so that everything we study is connected to real-life situations and practical communication skills. Grammar is never ignored, but introduced briefly and practiced lightly—just enough to support your progress without slowing you down.
Each lesson has a balance of structure and creativity. A usual session may include:
Warm-up / Conversation starter – short speaking activity to get into Russian mode.
New concept or theme introduction – presented clearly and simply, with examples.
Practice – interactive tasks, games, or discussions that reinforce the material.
Authentic input – a video, audio clip, or short text to see how the language works in real life.
Speaking & application – guided conversation or role-play to use new vocabulary and grammar naturally.
Wrap-up & reflection – quick review of what we learned + setting small goals for next time.
