About Jaiden
I am a life sciences university student who has experienced first hand the struggles of trying to understand complex scientific and mathematic concepts. Despite my struggles, I have had very good teachers and tutors to help me in my studies, and I have come to realize the power and importance of one on one teaching for young students. Throughout my career, I have learned that the best way to understand and to learn new concepts is to ask questions. I am here to provide the answers to your questions, through my diverse background in sciences and mathematics.

My lessons start of by determining the content the students already knows, through practice problems. I will evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the student. Once this first step is completed, I will address the weaknesses by incorporating problems that will challenge the student to understand the content. I will provide assistance to help the student on their journey, but I never provide the student with the answer right away, since the process of learning is supposed to challenge the student and make them think. If the student doesn't have any weaknesses or their content gaps have been dealt with, I will introduce new, more advanced problems that will help students think creatively and apply their knowledge to real life situations. I believe these application based problems are a fundamental tool to help students fully grasp the given concept. It forces the student to identify with the material being learned and apply it, which will impact them more profoundly and thus will help them remember the content better. My lessons are intended for high school students who seek a deeper understanding in maths and sciences and are considering a future in such fields.
