About Archana
I have a master's degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from Macquarie University. My prior teaching experience include volunteer ESL tutoring for students from low socio-economic backgrounds in rural areas of Malaysia for about 2 years - my students were all from different linguistic backgrounds. I was also a student teacher in Bridge Business College in Sydney, where I taught General English lessons to a diverse group of international students.

I believe in personalised teaching/ learning experience that recognises that every learner is unique in his/her own way; I strive to teach to my students' strengths while at the same time work on ways to minimise their weaknesses.
In regards to methodology I often alternate between content-focused as well as interactive/ participative methods, where I believe in creating a more relaxed and engaging learning environment.
