About Tryphosa
I am Tryphosa Nxumalo, from South Africa. I am a mom to two wonderful boys under the age of 10 years. I have obtained my TEFL Diploma through i-to-i Academy. I love teaching, because it gives me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and get to learn different cultures, most importantly the joy of helping someone grow and improve their English language.

My teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence. English is my native language. Students should expect to grow and improve proficiency in daily conversations, grammar, comprehension and reading skills. Student will also be given an opportunity to bring material of interest such a their favourite articles and discussions of their favourite topics. Lesson aims at beginners to intermediate students.
