About Liora
I am a dedicated guitar teacher with 11 years of experience, passionate about helping students develop their musical voice. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, which forms the foundation of my teaching. My focus is on songwriting, composition, and artist development. I guide students in writing original music, exploring their personal style, and expressing themselves authentically through their songs. Recording and producing tracks is an integral part of my lessons, giving students hands-on experience in bringing their ideas to life. I mentor aspiring singer-songwriters and independent musicians, helping them refine their craft and build confidence in their artistry. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether it’s developing melodies, arranging compositions, or performing live. I emphasise creativity, practical skills, and the joy of making music. Every session is designed to inspire, challenge, and motivate students to grow as artists. My goal is to help musicians not just play guitar, but craft songs that reflect their unique voice. My teaching methodology is designed to help students grow as well-rounded guitarists. I focus on building solid technical skills through scales, chord progressions, and rhythm exercises. I incorporate modern tools like DAWs, amp simulators, and metronome apps to make practice engaging and effective. Lessons are tailored to match each student’s musical tastes, challenges, and goals. I encourage exploration of different styles, including jazz, rock, blues, and contemporary genres. Real-time feedback helps students correct mistakes and develop good habits early. I focus on building both skill and confidence, so students can express themselves freely through their instrument. My goal is to make every lesson inspiring, productive, and fun, helping students excel and grow their passion for guitar.
