About Sasha
I am a musician, science and math enthusiast, I love baking and reading books. I have been doing tutoring for others since I was 16 and worked at a tutoring company for almost a year. I am currently earning my degree in Science, majoring in both Psychology and Biological Sciences. I love helping others and tutoring has always been a super rewarding experience.

My teaching method is to figure out the pace of each student first, moving slowly through content if needed or challenging others when finding too easy. I always ask questions to find out if the problem is with not knowing where to start or whether there is some blanks missing in the subject. I like to explain while doing and getting the children to see and understand what I’m showing, always making sure they try and example themselves to show they have understood before moving forward in the rest of the work set out. I’ll usually start with something quick and easy such as basic facts or definitions to get their brains moving and then move into the harder stuff that they are struggling with at the beginning of the lesson so it’s attainable and fresh. I’ll move onto other work that’s not too challenging to finish off so that we’re using the time wisely.
