About Courtney
I’m a Senior Radiographer with over 10 years of clinical radiography experience across major metropolitan/tertiary trauma and regional health services.
I hold a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) with Distinction, a Master of Medical Imaging Science specialising in CT & Hybrid Imaging, and a Master of Traumatology with Distinction.
Throughout my career, I’ve developed extensive experience across general X-ray, trauma and emergency imaging, CT, angiography, interventional imaging, theatre, fluoroscopy and PET/CT. I have worked in both regional and tertiary environments, giving me a broad understanding of the challenges faced by radiographers at different stages of their careers.
I’m passionate about clinical education and mentoring and have experience supervising undergraduate radiography students, mentoring junior radiographers and developing education and training programs for clinical staff. I understand that radiography can be challenging, particularly when trying to connect university theory with what actually happens in clinical practice. My goal is to make those concepts easier to understand and help you develop the confidence to apply your knowledge clinically.

I like to use clinical examples and scenarios to explain the reasoning behind imaging decisions, helping you understand not only what we do, but why we do it.
Whether you're a student learning the fundamentals or a new grad wanting to improve your CT, trauma or clinical reasoning skills, I can tailor the lesson to your needs. My aim is to help you become more confident in your knowledge, more prepared for clinical placement and ultimately a better radiographer.
