About Tammy
I see it as my personal mission to help change the negative connotations people have with math. To me, math is beautiful, artistic, and even fun. It really shouldn't feel like such a chore!
In the public classroom, I spent a year teaching Elementary Math Specials, so I know the foundational skills and have manipulatives to help reinforce those prerequisite skills.
I then spent 8 years teaching high school math. I've taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Precalculus, each to various skill levels, including (up through Geometry) resource and colab classes for those with special needs.
