About Mery
As a little bit of my background, I would like to tell you that I come from Canary Islands, Spain. Since I was a little girl, my mom was told that I have a gift for languages. I was lucky and my parents provided me with a good education in a school in which English was well taught so I could get a good level pretty early.
I found myself finishing High School and deciding to study Translation and Interpreting of English and German because I was excited about the fact that I would be taking my knowledge of languages a step beyond. Once I finished it, I started being a private classes teacher thus I discover my real passion was teaching. Then, I decided to study my Masters in Teaching.

Making my students understand the importance of languages is essential. I focus on trying to show them there is more than an exam to take. A language is the key to open the world. Once you get the key, you will be able to keep growing and learning. In order to achieve this, my methodology is based on:
- Understanding my student's needs and background.
- Setting clear objectives.
- Following an active learning.
- Differentiated instruction.

I have been teaching since 2021. I have experienced teaching from kindergarden children (2-3 years old) to adults. I am able to help primary children, teenagers and young adults to overcome their difficulties with English.
