About Heather
With 7 years of experience as a Biology tutor, I have built a strong track record of guiding students from school level to early college in mastering life science subjects. My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, engagement, and long-term understanding, ensuring that students not only learn biology but also enjoy the process of discovering how living organisms work.
I bring expertise across a wide range of topics including molecular biology, genetics, anatomy, physiology, and environmental science. In my biology tutoring sessions, I aim to transform learning into a structured yet enjoyable experience that helps students truly understand how living systems work. I work with learners from school level up to first-year college, focusing on simplifying challenging topics through clear explanations, diagrams, and step-by-step breakdowns.
Each lesson is customized based on the student’s current level, strengths, and academic goals. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding and then gradually build up core concepts in areas such as cellular processes, genetics, physiology, biodiversity, and environmental science.
