About Mia

I am an experienced tutor with approximately five years of experience supporting students across secondary and VCE education.

My academic background spans pharmaceutical science and economics at RMIT University, disciplines that have strengthened my analytical reasoning, critical thinking and written communication skills.

I have also contributed to a multidisciplinary lunar rover design team, gaining experience in collaborative problem-solving and communicating complex ideas.

As the co-founder of study studio, I am passionate about creating a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged and encouraged to develop confidence in their abilities.

My approach to English tutoring combines detailed feedback, clear explanations and structured practice.

I believe every student is capable of becoming a stronger writer when provided with the right guidance, strategies and encouragement.

About the lesson

As the co-founder of study studio, I provide students with access to a specially developed online learning platform created in collaboration with other tutors.

This platform is integrated into our lessons, creating a structured learning experience that extends beyond traditional one-on-one tutoring.

Mia is really smart and chill and she has like alot of presentations and teaching materials I can use when I study, shes really nice too, and she always checks in during the week if i have any troubles with topics at school and if i dont know how to do my homework she helps me in our class if i ask. She clearly helped explain tough concepts like percentage conversions and helped my daughter achieve well above average for her NAPLAN. Will be having her as a long term tutor for my daughter!

# Lesson Rates & study studio Group Classes

I offer personalised online tutoring with flexible learning options to suit different academic needs and budgets.

**Private Tutoring — $80 per hour**

My individual tutoring sessions are available on Thursdays and provide dedicated one-on-one support tailored to each student's learning pace, strengths and academic goals.

Private lessons include personalised explanations, targeted examination preparation, individual feedback and access to the study studio integrated learning platform.

**Group Tutoring — $40 per student per hour**

I am also excited to announce that **study studio is launching online group tutoring classes for the 2027 academic year!**

These sessions offer a more affordable alternative to private tutoring, at just **$40 per student per hour — 50% less than the individual lesson rate.**

Group classes are designed to provide a collaborative and engaging learning environment while maintaining the structured teaching and high-quality academic support that study studio offers.

Students attending group sessions will benefit from:

- Structured, curriculum-aligned lessons delivered by experienced tutors
- Opportunities to learn alongside peers studying similar content
- Guided practice questions and examination preparation
- Access to premium study studio learning resources
- A personalised student portal for accessing learning materials and tracking progress
- A supportive environment where students can ask questions and strengthen their understanding

**Both private and group tutoring students receive access to the study studio learning platform**, developed by myself and fellow tutors to provide an integrated educational experience.
