About Larry
I am a year 13 student who has achieved a Grade 9 (A*) at GCSE level and is predicted A* at A-Level. I have experience helping younger students to prepare for the oral exams as I am a student leader for modern languages in my college and so I help run weekly support sessions. Due to still being a student, I know how it feels to be consumed with stress when thinking about Spanish speaking exams, they can seem very overwhelming, however this doesn’t have to be the case. After our classes I guarantee that the student will feel well prepared for their upcoming exams and studies.

In the 1 hour lessons, I like to first allow the student to bring any topic they are struggling with to the table so we can focus on that, whilst also always having a plan to fall back on. My preferred method of teaching Spanish is through speaking, especially at GCSE level it’s so useful to become comfortable with speaking as it not only removes the stress of the exam but also improves speaking skills. My lessons are for ages 12-16, those who are struggling in Spanish lessons and exams. We will work together to get to a point where the student feels well equipped to get top grades. I achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE level and am predicted an A* in my A-Levels. I am a student leader in my college and so have experience assisting younger years with exam prep. I have also undergone a number of advanced Spanish courses working alongside natives.
