About Saniru
Having completed an accelerated course in Information processes & technology (IPT) in yr 10 (2021) and achieved a high band 6 of 95 I first privately tutored 3 students last yr during HSC with each of them achieving a B6 and one of them achieving state rank 3 in 2023. It was an amazing experience as I found even the weakest students can improve with the right mindset no matter the subject. I have also received scores of 96/100 in eng adv, 47/50 in eng ext1, 94/100 in maths ext 1 in the 2023 HSC with a 99+ atar. Upon completing the HSC, I have continued to tutor in two companies: Knoji and Alpha Coaching and am keen to tutor more students online or in person at superprof.

My typical lessons run between 1-2 hrs and can include going through your upcoming assessments, breaking down syllabus dot points or learning new concepts in a step-by-step manner. Outside of the lesson I will read or reread any texts prescribed to students and mark unlimited drafts handed in by students within a 1-2 day notice. As our school motto goes, “Vincit qui se vincit” or “He conquers who conquers himself”, and HSC is no different. As a tutor, it is one’s duty to help you achieve your goals academically, however, I feel one must also pay the same respect and diligence to a student's well-being and personal development, with some friendly 'banter' along the way :) Beyond teaching, I truly care for my students individually and often go beyond the lesson to help them improve their weaknesses. This is a reflection of how I grew as a student at school as a result of my dedicated teachers, peers and mentors at North Sydney Boys.

I first met Suniru after he was recommended to me by one of my James Ruse classmates. Suniru genuinely was probably one of the best tutors I have ever had. The way he was able to break down complex concpets and convey them to me was incredible. His dedication and commitement to me was also outstanding, making me feel I was in safe hands. Having known Suniru for years, I highly recommend him as a tutor. He is able to tailor his method of teaching to students whilst also teaching effectively. One example of many was when he was able to break down year eleven trigonometry for my year nine self. Overall, Suniru is a one of a kind tutor and I defintely attribute a portion of my success to him.
Saniru is a great tutor who has taught me how to succeed academically at school by passing on tried and true strategies that result in only the vest best. He has helped me immensely in maths with difficult topics such as trigonometry in a way that I actually understood, enabling me to perform highly in school exams. He not only increased my mathematical skills but helped me greatly in IPT in a similar manner, resulting in my own high result
