About Divya
Hello! My name is Divya, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning strategies.
I specialize in tutoring high school English and mathematics through AP Calculus. My experience working with students at different skill levels has taught me how to adapt lessons to individual learning styles, whether a student needs help strengthening foundational concepts, improving grades, preparing for exams, or tackling advanced coursework.

About my lessons
Hi, I'm Divya. My teaching approach is student-centered, engaging, and tailored to each learner's individual needs. I focus on building a strong foundation of knowledge while helping students develop confidence, critical thinking, and effective study habits. Through clear explanations, guided practice, and real-world examples, I make challenging concepts easier to understand.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous material, followed by targeted instruction on new concepts. We then work through examples together, practice problem-solving strategies, and address any questions to ensure full understanding. Lessons are designed to be interactive, encouraging students to actively participate and build independent learning skills.
I tutor high school-level English, helping students improve reading comprehension, writing, grammar, literary analysis, and essay development. In mathematics, I support students from foundational topics through advanced coursework, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus.
