About John
I scored a perfect 180 on the LSAT, a score achieved by only 0.1% of test-takers. Getting there required not just hard work, but developing an entire LSAT approach to teach myself. A systematic approach to studying for the LSAT involves scheduling, practice tests, and deep focus on difficult LSAT question types which breaks the test down to its conceptual bases. This involved pulling together my academic background in Logic, together with years of prior tutoring experience, both for the SAT and for German Language learning.

After diagnostic LSAT testing and further practice tests, lessons will involve delving into those problem areas and question types which are still giving students trouble. This means extended, in-depth discussions on the toughest curve-breaker questions on the LSAT: difficult logical reasoning questions and reading comprehension passages. To repeat: this service is for AMBITIOUS students who are aiming for an elite score. Lessons therefore come with the expectation of student practice-testing outside of tutoring hours.
