About Holly
Hello! I am a recent Classics Graduate, who specialised in Ancient Greek religion and music. Now that I have graduated, I want to help others to achieve their potential and beyond. In my lessons, I hope I can make the required syllabus as engaging and exciting as possible, so that you can reach your goals with as little stress and strain as possible!

I approach lessons with the intent to expand your understanding rather than focusing on memorisation. I hope that I can help teach my students to change the way they approach these subjects, so that they can reach their potential, and apply these skills to their everyday lives. My typical lesson length will be 1-2 hours, and this will be a very varied lesson with different activities and strategies to find what works best for my students. My qualifications include a 1st Class degree in Classical studies, and an A* in A level English Literature. I have helped tutor many students in the past, however I have not had it as a career, it’s time for a change! I find lots of satisfaction in helping others, and understand the stress of being a GCSE and A level student, I hope to be an emotional support to my students as well as an academic one.

Holly is an incredibly intelligent and passionate person. She knows so much and is always happy to share her information and insights on topics such as religion, literature and a whole host of other subjects. Holly has made a lot of learning easy for me personally to understand, meaning she is great at working with neurodiverse people as well and is able to comprehend a lot of people. Holly is also fantastic with people and is very kind to them bit also quite blunt in some ways especially when you have got something wrong. Overall Holly will be/is an excellent tutor.
