About Ellen
I am a first class English Literature graduate. I have performed consistently well throughout my academic career, achieving 3 As at A level in English Literature, History and Sociology and 10 GCSEs including 4 A*s and 5 As. I have experience coaching children in football at my local club where I played for 8 years. I was a senior student at school and supported younger children with their academic studies through mentoring. I did a lot of babysitting where I helped with homework and also regularly aid my younger sister with her GCSEs.

I am familiar with the content of English GCSE and A level courses and can help students develop their understanding of texts, use of language and then how to apply this to exam questions in a patient and student-centered manner. I would have an in depth chat with the student and identify the areas they are struggling with and work out a plan of action to increase their confidence, knowledge and exam technique.
I feel I have a lot of relevant skills and knowledge to share.
