About Rachel
I am a singer songwriter and have played guitar, gigged and written songs for 10 years and I also have a 1st class degree in Pop Music and Songwriting from Leeds Conservatoire.
I play gigs as a solo artist and my songs have reached audiences such as Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music and BBC Introducing. I also write for other artist's projects and am a very experienced collaborator.
I have tutoring experience and I also teach music tech in schools in London.
I am really keen to inspire people to tune in to their musicality and creativity.

My aim is to make lessons fun, engaging and accessible for all. I will tailor lesson plans accordingly for individuals in order to make sure you get the most out of your learning. I'll be able to help you learn your favourite songs, play new chords, gain an understanding of rhythm and I can also delve into Pop Theory if you'd like.
As singer songwriter, I also teach and mentor Songwriting. Whether you'd like to learn composition techniques from scratch or bring your own songs to work on, I can help you structure, break through writer's block, arrange and many more songwriting techniques.
I teach beginner to intermediate guitar and all abilities of songwriting.
Lessons are 30mins, 45mins, 60mins.
I have experience in 1-1 and classroom teaching and have an up to date DBS check.
