About Lydia
I graduated with a 1st in maths at Bristol university. I’ve worked in market research most of my career and now taking a break to write. I love books and reading and I’ve worked as a lecturer in marketing at Brighton University and have had private tutoring students off and on for many years. I love maths and spent the pandemic relearning what I’d forgotten since my degree (turns out a lot!) and then wanted to put my refreshed know-how into helping students who may have a difficult relationship with maths. I’m sure I can help you fall in love, or at least not dislike so much with maths.

I take a coaching approach to lessons, with lots of time for guided practice and discussion to integrate your learning. I love maths, half the practice is figuring out what the question is asking you to do and what tools you need. I’ve had many students tell me they’ve gone from dreading maths classes to finding it fun!
