About Ishan
I am a 1st year Engineering student at the University of British Columbia interested in studying Computer Engineering. I have a very strong background in high school mathematics and physics, and have completed the International Baccalaureate diploma.
I am fluent in all high school mathematics and physics, including trigonometry, single variable calculus, thermodynamics, waves and oscillations, particle motion, mechanics, and more! I am a very avid learner when it comes to new topics!

My teaching methods include teaching the material in a way that the student understands it and is able to leave the lesson with a better understanding. I believe that the most important part of learning is understanding why something happens, and not just memorizing a fact.
Practicing concepts and consistent revisiting of older material is useful in developing long term skills. I adapt to the needs of the student, whether it be teaching at a different pace, or presenting a concept in a way that is comprehendible to the student!
