About Sabine
History has always been my favorite subject, and I loved how IB allowed me to study really interesting case studies like civil wars, world wars, and the complexities of dictators like Mao. This passion led me to pursue International Studies, majoring in International Relations, at the University of Sydney. I also love music and explored Scottish music in the soundtrack for How to Train Your Dragon for my Extended Essay. Furthermore, as an avid reader, I thoroughly enjoyed IB English Literature which exposed me to many of my new favorite authors and genres.

As a recent IB graduate, I tutor IB English Literature, History, and Music, providing personalised guidance and sharing my own resources and study notes. Lessons are typically 1-2 hours, tailored to the students' needs whether it be a re-fresher on the course, explaining key concepts or events studied within the course, essay writing techniques, and active-recall conversations. Topics covered in History would include: Mao, Mussolini, Hitler, Spanish Civil War, Chinese Civil Wars, WWI, WWII, Japanese Foreign Policy, German and Italian Foreign Policy, and post-war peace treaties.
