About Jesse
I'm 18 years old, and I started my chess journey back when I was a kid. Over the years, I've played in many tournaments (maybe even one too many!). Three years ago, I decided to share my passion by teaching. Since then, I’ve worked with students 1-on-1, in clubs, and in schools.
I’m currently rated 2100, placing me in the top 0.1% of players. Teaching chess is my passion, and I love to see my students excel and break barriers they thought they never could.

About the lesson

I teach chess to beginners with lessons designed to be engaging and most importantly fun, all while helping you excel and raise your chess level! To help you achieve this, we will firstly analyse your games together to find any weaknesses/mistakes, and then we’ll make sure they don't happen again!
I will also give you many tools and resources, like opening files, to ensure you always get the best position from the start. We’ll focus on mastering calculation and strategies, as well as middle-game and endgame skills, so you always know how to outplay your opponent.
To boost your progress, we’ll solve puzzles together to sharpen your tactics and improve your feel for the game. I also have a few more growth strategies, but as there are other chess coaches on here, I’ll have to keep them quiet haha.
My typical time for a lesson will be an hour, but I have multiple packages for you to choose from! I will also recommend you books and YouTube videos for you to watch, depending on your style. The lessons will take place in Discord. I look forward to seeing your progress in chess!!
