About Lucas
My name is Lucas and I am currently in my 2nd year at the University of York reading English Literature. I am extremely passionate about this subject as I believe it can be harnessed as a powerful tool to help us become better people. Literature not only encourages you to think critically, but allows you to consume lived experience in a matter of hours or days. It truly is a remarkable way to build on your character and an acquire a greater understand of the complex world we find ourselves in. Therefore, I am passionate to ignite and foster this love for literature in my students, not only helping them to thrive academically, but also showing them a way to help them thrive in life!

I am proficient in guiding my students to the next level in their learning, elevating them to a higher standard and fulfilling their true potential! I work with student's on their weaknesses and guide them through how to overcome any barriers that they may be facing. This will consist of analysing schoolwork and assigning them tasks that will specifically target their weakness. This helps to slowly build the students confidence, allowing them to move forward in the subject and go on to conquer more advanced material!
