Raffi is excellent at catering to different skill levels, meeting you where you are and helping you get closer to where you want to be. His explanations and exercises are clear and his style of tutoring is very encouraging.

For both GCSE and A Level Maths, Raffi helped me greatly to identify specific areas for focused learning and helped me to organise and structure my revision exams approached. He mapped out the topics we needed to prioritise and a plan of how we were going to do it. Raffi has such an easy manner, he is highly knowledgeable and adapts his teaching style to you individually. He explains methods briliantly, from basic to more complex, in a way that is easy to digest and understand. I recommend him highly to anyone who is at a point where they may feel overwhelmed on where to begin to revise for mocks / exams or who may have specific topics they need more explanation to understand or to revise.

Raffi helped me get from being very unsure in my mathematical abilities and achieving a grade 3 in GCSE maths to becoming way more confident in myself and attaining a grade 6 in my actual GCSE exam within the space of a year. Our 12-year-old son has ASD and ADHD. During the repeated lockdowns Raffi has provided regular online support with reading and numeracy work, as well as more recreational activities such as online chess and playing with Lego. He is very patient and has established excellent rapport with our son. Raffi has a gentle manner and engages with our son superbly on his own level while maintaining control over the learning. He is also flexible and able to adapt the learning in response to my son’s mood (which can change rapidly during a lesson).

Our 9-year-old daughter is very enthusiastic, able and well engaged with her school work. Raffi also provided her with regular, online support during lockdowns. He has an excellent knowledge of subject matter with respect to English, mathematics and Science and was confident to pitch his support at a level that was sufficiently challenging to maintain her engagement while not losing any clarity in his explanations.
