About Niamh
I’m Niamh! I’m a 3rd year Animation Production Student hoping to share some guidance on being accepted into art school, as I am aware of how competitive it is. I wish I’d had a support structure while I was compiling my applications and I know that I would have benefitted greatly from a second opinion.

As someone who struggled to remain consistent in school, but achieved 6’s & 7’s at GCSE & A, B, B (English lit, film studies, media studies) at A level, I aim to be patient and understanding first and foremost. I believe that it is important for a tutor session to be relaxed and relatively informal; as while it is crucial that key points from the session are remembered and expanded on by the student, it is also crucial that they are comfortable enough- no matter their ability or skill level- to ask questions that will clarify learning they might be missing at school. My tutor sessions are 1-2 hours online, either in the evenings or at weekends.
