About Sophie

My name is Sophie, I want to teach as I believe learning a language is an amazing and unique skill; it opens up so many aspects of different cultures and is a real triumph to learn. I want to help people develop their skills because I feel that education for languages in the anglophone world is poor. After being a Language Assistant in France, I was able to see how nurturing and encouraging language learning at a young age can allow for a positive experience and more confidence that goes further than education systems.

About the lesson

In my lessons we can focus on all aspects of the exams for GCSE and use those as a guide for developing personal and advanced French. I have teaching experience from being a Language Assistant in France and worked with a wide range of ages and abilities, using games and interesting aspects of culture to keep learning interesting and fun.
