About Lara
My name is Lara, I am 20 years old currently in my 3rd year of studying Medicine at JCU. I graduated in 2020 with an ATAR of 97. I am from a small island in Queensland and moved to Townsville at the start or 2021 to pursue my dream of being a doctor.

My lessons are structure is flexible and can be adapted to each student to best suit their learning style. Worked solutions were something that I found to be the most useful when I was in school, however nearly every textbook provided did not have worked solutions and instead only had final answers. In my lessons I will provide the fundamental knowledge for particular topics and then walk through examples and practice questions slowly where the student will have an opportunity to ask questions and clarify information. To cement the students knowledge I will then have them perform a "teach back" where they have to explain the concept back to me in there own words using their own examples, or in a maths context, walk through practice questions with me all while still feeling supported.
