About Erin
I am a 3rd-year Politics and Philosophy student at the University of Aberdeen.
I achieved an A in Higher Philosophy and an A in National 5 and Higher English. I was the best performing Higher and Advanced Higher modern studies pupil; I achieved full marks in my Higher exam and my Advanced Higher dissertation.
I have also held multiple positions in cross-party parliamentary groups and Scottish Government focus groups. This has given me a strong understanding of politics outside of academia.
The skills gained from studying Philosophy, English and Modern Studies can be applied to every area of life, so I strive to make learning the subjects as enjoyable as possible.

Before we begin our tutoring sessions, we will discuss your learning objectives and determine what areas of the course you would like to focus on, as well as any difficulties that may prevent you from performing at your best. This information will form the basis of all of our sessions together to ensure that we meet your expectations and build your confidence.
I tutor using a range of methods but my priority is making sure that the session works for you. Some examples of what we may choose to do are practice essays, past papers, or interactive games to consolidate your learning.
I know how it feels to struggle in exam settings, even if you know the content. So, we will spend plenty of time going over exam techniques and memory aids to help you stay calm in the exam hall.
