I am a current primary school teacher, teaching grades 3/4. I am a calm and patient person and thoroughly enjoy getting to know my students and building a rapport with them. I love spending time with my family and going on adventures! I love animals (especially dogs)!

I am a nurturing and dedicated teacher. I have 3 years experience in teaching full time. Although I am teaching years 3/4, I have a vast experience in working with EAL learners and students ranging from English levels foundation- year 7. I take an individualised approach to all students both inside the classroom and in tutoring. I understand that all students learn at their own level and take into consideration all abilities such as English as an additional language and disabilities. I create an environment for students to feel comfortable in their learning. My goal is to support students to love literacy by using their interests to engage them in the learning. I taught online through COVID over the last two years and seen great success in my students. This was evident through my ongoing formative assessment and summarise assessments. I meet students where they are in their learning and set out clear, specific goals that students understand.
