About Paige
I am an Astrophysics undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, but I am originally from Montreal. I have tutored friends and family in high school math and science and I have experience as a teaching assistant for remedial Sec 5 physics at Vanier College, which is where I went to CEGEP. Throughout the years I have developed my skills as a tutor to convey complicated ideas and make them understandable. I am passionate about making learning fun and interactive.

I teach:
- High school Math and Science (chemistry included)
-Cegep core science classes: Cal 1, Cal 2, Linear Algebra, Mechanics, Waves and Modern Physics, Electricity and Magnetism
-Cegep elective science classes: Differential Equations, Cal 3, Astrophysics, Programming
My teaching style is to provide a friendly and encouraging environment where the student can develop proper problem solving skills. I am focused on the student's understanding and ability to apply fundamental concepts to different situations rather than memorization. These subjects did not always come easy to me, and I am passionate about sharing my tips and tricks to succeed like I did.
A typical lesson would consist of teaching the basic concepts and applying them to more and more difficult problems until the student feels comfortable enough to move on. I like to emphasize real life examples and try to relate complicated ideas to simples ones that the student might resonate with.
