About Filip
I am a passionate soon-to-be BSc Mathematics graduate at the University of Bath who’s looking to further his mathematical career to postgrad studies. I’ve been tutoring for almost 5 years for various exam boards. Mathematics is a very social discipline and I very much enjoy discussing problems with others, bouncing ideas off each other and sharing my knowledge through my experience. I’ve also been told I make a non-zero number of puns during lessons which delights some and makes others groan.

I favour a one on one approach, talking through mathematical concepts, proofs and results for better understanding of the why behind hard to grasp topics. I tutor online on Zoom for a flexible schedule for my students, and use Write, Excel and Desmos to give concrete examples and analogies for those tough to imagine problems and applications. My students appreciate my ability to attune with their learning style and the humour in presentation of concepts. I offer help with exam preparation, staying on top of your studies and getting ahead of the curve. I also offer outside of lesson support and I’m available to chat between sessions to aid independent work. Our lessons can be 1 hour, 1.5 or 2 hours long and will consist of an overview of a given topic and working through problems together.
