- I love to learn, and I want to inspire other people to have a similar outlook!
- I want to reassure students that may struggle with STEM subjects that it can be fun and incredibly fascinating.
- I am very passionate about studying Biochemistry and I would like to branch out with this into education in the future.
- I take teaching very seriously and put great efforts into making lesson plans and providing a positive experience for students.

- Typical length of lesson: 1-1.5 hour (depending on needs of student)
- I teach based on students' strengths and weaknesses - focus on reinforcing knowledge and building on it by prompting discussions and asking challenging questions
- I keep lessons at a friendly, but stimulating pace to engage the student and inspire them!
- I survey students on what they need to work on - I compile material based on their syllabus and do extra research - giving each student personalised tutoring.
- I used to teach English to primary school kids in my home-country (Greece), and volunteered as a teacher in the Red Cross in South Africa, teaching youth English and Mathematics.
- I used to also hold Creative Writing workshops for students in which I taught writing skills in a group.
- I am currently on the Peer Mentoring Scheme within the Bioscience Department at my University, helping fellow students with coursework and sharing helpful tips for how to manage their workload.
