About Lewis
My name is Lewis, I am a Scottish student at Robert Gordon University and am about to undertake the final year of my Masters degree in Applied Sport & Exercise Science. My career goal is to use this degree to become a PE teacher - hence my interest in the Physical Education system.
I am an extremely sporty individual and have always been involved in some kind of sport or activity my whole life. I started off as all all rounder doing as many sports as possible and then in my early teens became more specialised in martial arts - where I achieved a black belt in Taekwon-Do - and football, where I played at a semi-professional level and spent some time at university in America on a scholarship.
These days due to injuries I have taken some time away from football and more demanding sports and have instead focused my last couple years training within the gym. I have become competent at developing all aspects of fitness including strength, hypertrophy, aerobic capacity, mobility, injury rehab and prevention, and the list goes on.
My sports, gym, coaching, and teaching experience over the years in addition to my academic knowledge has given me a great understanding of the sports fitness industry and I believe makes me an ideal tutor for students looking to develop their knowledge and ability within Physical Education, Sports Science, or the rapidly expanding Fitness industry.

I am an aspiring PE teacher looking to provide quality lessons and learning experiences within my subject of expertise which is Sports Science. and Physical Education.
My experience includes a degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science from Robert Gordon University. 6-weeks secondary school PE teaching placement. 1 years youth sports coaching with Denis Law Legacy trust. 1 year group and 1-1 personal training for adults of all abilities. Voluntary coaching within secondary schools, martial arts clubs, football teams etc. Development of gym programs for all aspects of fitness, and development of nutrition programs tailored to training or lifestyle goals.
I can offer valuable methods, techniques and strategies to new or aspiring personal trainers from business models to exercise ideas and inventories.
I can teach content and academic skills to pass courses from secondary school PE all the way to HND Sports Science courses in an engaging, comprehensive and logical manner.
Lessons are for anyone who may need support or advice in the above subject areas. I have a good overall knowledge of the fitness industry and also secondary school Physical Education due to future career goals. Teaching is a passion of mine and the ability to convey information in a way that is understandable to different individuals and different learning styles is something I am confident in my ability to do - and something I feel schools and Universities are not always able to achieve.
I would love the opportunity to share my knowledge and help aspiring students within Sports Science or Physical Education improve their skills and achieve their goals.
