About Niomi
I am someone who always believes in the idea of smart work over hard work. For me, the best education is one received using an interplay of senses and sensory stimuli. This is a concept most teachers believe is only appropriate for pre-schoolers, however, through my schooling and University journey, I have found that it brings about the highest level of holistic understanding which eventually translates to good grades! I completed my IB education with 40+ points and got into a direct entry Biology Programme at the University of Edinburgh, which is where I'm currently at. I have also Interned at 2-3 different places and have a sound understanding of both theory and practical skills in Biology. My course allowed me to explore several different fields in biology, including Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular biology and Cell biology, therefore instilling a relatively complete and deep understanding of biology, this knowledge is something I would like to pass on to you!

I do not believe in rote learning and am a strong advocate for building a holistic understanding in students by explaining basic practical skills along with theory. I have previously taught French and Biology, to which my students have responded well in terms of their general understanding and have seen an overall improvement in their grades. The idea of using different methods, such as; videos, podcasts and diagrams is one that helped me secure high grades in school as well. A typical lesson with me would be around 1 hour, and I can best teach students between the ages of 14-18.
