About Zain
Hi! I’m Zain Mahir, a 4th year medical student. Having successfully navigated the medical school interview process myself and received offers from multiple universities in Australia and the UK, I know how it feels to be overwhelmed and scared for the coming interviews. I also know what it takes to stand out. I bring a structured, personalized, and practical approach to interview preparation. My sessions focus on building confidence, refining communication skills, and mastering the techniques needed to excel in interviews. With first-hand experience I’m here to guide you step-by-step and ensure you’re fully prepared to impress. Professional, approachable, and results driven my goal is to help you achieve your dream of nailing any interview you have coming up!

My Approach to Interview Tutoring
I take a personalised and practical approach to help students confidently tackle interviews. My teaching combines insider knowledge with interactive practice to ensure students are fully prepared.
Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
1. Mock Interviews: Simulate real interview scenarios with personalised feedback.
2. Structured Guidance: Teach frameworks for answering common interview questions effectively.
3. Communication Skills: Focus on clarity, confidence, and body language.
4. Reflective Practice: Help students identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Lesson Length:
- Typically, 30-60 minutes per session.
- Can be tailored depending on the student’s needs and preparation level.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4th Year Curtin MBBS student
- Accepted into multiple medical programs across Australia and the UK.
- Experience as Year Representative for IHOC and CSSA, Sponsorship Officer for GPSN, and public speaking at events.
- First-hand experience with interviews and selection processes.
