About Leonie
I am a 4th year law student at Balliol College, Oxford. I come from a state-school background and spend a lot of time promoting access to Oxbridge through helping with applications. I have tutored both GCSE and A Level English Literature in the past, with my students obtaining great results. I've just returned from a year abroad in Paris, where I received top grades in my French law exams - so would be able to confidently assist with French studies also.
Aside from academics, I love swimming and have been a swimming teacher since I was 16. I am patient, enthusiastic and friendly!

My teaching method is largely guided by the student. I would tend to approach a topic by breaking it down into sections, and then using example questions or problems to encourage a true understanding. For example in English, this could be dividing a book up according to theme and then analysing the application of each theme in turn.
