About
My name is Kyla Griggs. I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with experience mentoring students from elementary through college levels. As a biochemistry major on the pre-med track, I bring both academic excellence and real-world understanding to each session. However, this doesn't mean our session will be any bit of boring. While learning is the primary goal, I also aim to make the process enjoyable and ensure the material is fully internalized and retained. My background includes tutoring through HBCU mentoring/tutoring programs and simple summer daycare jobs, where I helped students build confidence and improve their performance. I am professional, patient, respectful, understanding, and committed to creating a space where students feel comfortable and supported while learning. I take pride in showing up prepared and making sure each student gets the attention and strategy they need to succeed.
